About Scottish Gathering and Highland Games
Scottish Gathering and Highland Games is an annual tradition that takes place in Salado, Texas. It is the celebration of all things Scottish. The event features highland dancing, Scottish heavy athletics, Celtic goods, food, bagpipes, drumming, Scottish singers, and contests.
The two main highlights of this event are:
- The Torchlight Ceremony – that recreates the coming together of the ancient Scottish clans.
- Clan Village – a great gathering of Scottish Clan tents where Clan members share information about Scottish history.
In 2024, the three-day Scottish Gathering and Highland Games will begin on Friday, November 8 and conclude on Sunday, November 10.
