Galveston County Fair & Rodeo (GCFR)
Galveston County Fair & Rodeo is annually held at Jack Brooks Park in Hitchcock, TX. The event was first held in 1938 at Runge Park located in Arcadia, Texas. In 1984, the fair was moved to its current location i.e. Jack Brooks Park. Galveston County Fair & Rodeo is a family-friendly event that has something for attendees of all ages. The fair features animals, contests, rodeos, rides, entertainment, and lots of fun. In 2025, the nine-day Galveston County Fair & Rodeo will take place from Friday, April 4 to Saturday, April 12.
