About the Boat Show
The Wooden Boat Show is always held on the third weekend of October in Georgetown, South Carolina. The annual event celebrates Georgetown’s maritime heritage and the beauty of wooden boats in a family-friendly environment. The boat show features wooden boat exhibits displayed on land and water, boat race, boat building, youth sailing regatta, maritime arts and crafts, and some tasty food. All proceeds from this premier wooden boat exhibition benefit the South Carolina Maritime Museum. In 2024, the two-day Georgetown Wooden Boat Show will take place on Saturday, October 19 and Sunday, October 20.
