The 781st Urs of Hazrat Baba Fariduddin Masood Ganj Shakar RA
Baba Farid (RA) was a 12th Century Sufi saint of the Chishti Order(Silsila-e-Chishtia). He was the successor(Khalifa) of Hazrat Khawaja Qutbuddin Bakhtiar Kaki (RA). The Urs of Baba Farid (RA) is observed each year from 25th Zilhij to 10th Muharram.
Bahishti Darwaza, which is the main part of urs, remains open for pilgrims from 5th Muharram to 7th Muharram. His shrine is in Pakpattan.
