DeSoto County Fair is a community tradition that annually takes place in Arcadia, Florida. The fair was first held in 1953 when a group of civic-minded citizens saw the need to show agricultural products grown in DeSoto County. Thanks to the hard work of DeSoto County Fair Association members, the fair has grown exponentially since its humble beginning. DeSoto County Fair is a family-friendly event that is packed with lots of fun, entertainment, and exciting activities. The fair features rides, vendors, exhibits, contests, food, games, livestock, and so much more. In 2024, the nine-day DeSoto County Fair will take place from Friday, February 2 to Saturday, February 10.
