About The Apple Harvest Festival
The National Apple Harvest Festival is organized annually at the South Mountain Fairgrounds in Biglerville, Pennsylvania. The festival was first held over 50 years ago on Sunday, October 10, 1965. This single-day event featured attractions like pony rides, an antique car display, orchard bus tours, apple desserts, apple product sales, and more. The festival continued to grow each year and has become one of the top events for the community.
Apple Harvest Fest is a family-friendly event that celebrates the fall season and offers something for everyone with attractions ranging from handmade crafts to delicious food to jam-packed entertainment. The festival features antique farm equipment displays, live music, arts and crafts vendors, an artisan demonstration area, food, etc. And of course, there are plenty of apples, applesauce, apple syrups, ciders, slushies, pancakes, and so much more. Since 1975, the festival typically takes place on the first two full weekends of October each year. In 2024, the four-day National Apple Harvest Festival will be held on October 5, 6, 12, and 13.
