About the Fair
Westmoreland Fair is annually held at the 170-acre fairgrounds in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. It all started in 1954, when a group of local farmers and businessmen established the Westmoreland Agricultural Fair and Recreation Association. For the first few years, the fair was organized at Idlewild Park, located in Ligonier. In 1957, the fair association purchased a 170-acre farm near the village of Mutual, and Westmoreland Fair found a permanent home.
Westmoreland Fair is a family-friendly and fun-filled event that offers plenty of exciting activities and entertainment for the attendees. The fair features livestock exhibits, commercial vendors, contests, food, pageants, amusement rides, and so much more. In 2024, the nine-day Westmoreland Fair will be held from Friday, August 16 to Saturday, August 24.
