About the Fair
Alameda County Fair is held annually at the 270-acre fairgrounds in Pleasanton, California. The event is organized by the Alameda County Fair Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to create new opportunities for youth engagement, enhance educational programs, and strengthen the viability and relevancy of the annual fair.
The first Fair was held in 1912 and today it is considered one of the top fairs in the United States. It is today a wholesome and widely celebrated community tradition, that also attracts visitors from all over the state and beyond.
Alameda County Fair is a family-friendly event that offers lots of fun and entertainment for everyone. The fair features animals, midway, food, art, exhibits, shopping, games, and more. In 2024, the 24-day Alameda County Fair will take place from Friday, June 14 to Sunday, July 7.
