About the Fair
The Big Fresno Fair is organized every year in October at the 165-acre fairgrounds on Chance Avenue. People from all backgrounds attend the valley’s largest annual event. The fair was first held in October 1884 and ever since it has taken place annually in the same month at the same location. Fresno Fair is one of the top fairs in the USA and has received four Merrill Awards(top honor in the fair industry).
The Big Fresno Fair is a family-friendly event that offers lots of fun and entertainment for everyone. The fair also features games, exhibits, community performances, livestock shows, food, carnival rides, horse racing, and more. In 2024, the twelve-day Fresno Fair will take place from Wednesday, October 2 to Monday, October 14.
