About the Event
Benton Franklin Fair is held each year at the fairgrounds located along Washington Street in Kennewick, WA. First held in 1948, the fair is a major celebration and highlight of summer in the Tri-Cities.
Benton Franklin Fair’s origins date back to 1911 with the Grape Festival in Downtown Kennewick. The Grape Festival’s run ended in 1947, and then a group of community members formed the Benton Fair Association. Over the years, the fair has evolved into a widely celebrated community tradition in Tri-Cities.
Benton Franklin Fair is a family-friendly and fun-filled event that features many attractions including livestock, commercial vendors, amusement rides, games, fair food, and rodeo performances. In 2024, the Benton-Franklin Fair & Rodeo will take place from Tuesday, August 20 to Saturday, August 24.
