About the State Fair
The Central Washington State Fair is annually organized at the State Fair Park in Yakima, WA. Since 1892, the fair has provided the people of Central Washington and beyond with a fun and educational event in a family-friendly environment.
While the fair strives to be the showcase for Yakima County’s agricultural, educational, civic, and commercial interests, it also provides an opportunity for people to have fun together. On top of that, there are a number of free exhibits and attractions for visitors. The fair also features livestock, midway rides, food, contests, and lots of entertainment. In 2024, the ten-day Central Washington State Fair will be held from Friday, September 20 to Sunday, September 29.
