About Garlic & Harvest Festival

Connecticut Garlic & Harvest Festival is an annual event that transforms Bethlehem Fairgrounds into a garlic-lovers mecca for a weekend in fall. The festival features garlic cooking demonstrations, lectures about growing garlic, and produce stands of fresh garlic(and a variety of other fall produce). Connecticut Garlic & Harvest Festival also offers a diverse variety of garlic specialty foods, such as garlic dips, garlic spreads, garlic oils, garlic pizzas, deep-fried garlic, garlic cheeses, garlic ice creams, and more.

First held in 2005, the Garlic Festival features many traditional county fair activities, including live band performances, rides, games, fair food, and craft vendors. In 2024, the two-day Connecticut Garlic & Harvest Festival will begin on Saturday, October 12 and will continue till Sunday, October 13.
