About the Festival
Duluth’s first festival, a five-week celebration of the founding of the town, was held in 1962. Presently, the festival takes place on the last weekend in September and begins with a huge parade through the streets of Duluth on Saturday morning.
Duluth Fall Festival offers lots of fun and entertainment for attendees of all ages. The festival features rides, games, contests, shopping, food, and more. The proceeds from the festival are spent towards improving and beautifying the historic Downtown Duluth. In 2024, the Duluth Fall Festival will take place from Saturday, September 28 to Sunday, September 29.
