Tennessee Valley Fair(TVF) is annually held at Chilhowee Park & Exposition Center in Knoxville, TN. It all began in 1916 when Hugh D. Faust emphasized that East Tennessee must have a fair. So the first Tennessee Valley Fair was organized in 1916. In the year 1930, the City of Knoxville purchased Chilhowee Park, the present location of TVF. In 1949 the dates for the fair permanently became the second week of September. Tennessee Valley Fair offers lots of family-friendly entertainment and fun for all ages. The event also features action sports, competitions, agricultural education, livestock, fine arts, flower show, rides, food, and much more. In 2021 the ten-day Tennessee Valley Fair will take place from Friday, September 10 to Sunday, September 19.
