About the Fair
Dutchess County Fair is annually organized at the 147-acre fairgrounds in Rhinebeck, NY. The Dutchess County Agricultural Society was formed in 1841 and the first official fair was held in 1842. In the year 1950, the society purchased Springbrook Park and renamed it the Dutchess County Fairgrounds, where the fair takes place every year.
Dutchess County Fair is a family-friendly event that offers something for everyone. The fair features livestock, kids’ activities, entertainment, food, rides, and much more. In 2024, the six-day Dutchess County Fair will be held from Tuesday, August 20 to Sunday, August 25.
