The Greater Gulf State Fair
Greater Gulf State Fair is organized annually at the 160-acre fairgrounds in Mobile, Alabama. The fair was first held in the year 1955. For about twenty years the event was held at different locations. In 1975 the fair found a permanent home when organizers purchased the current fairgrounds.
The Greater Gulf State Fair is a family-friendly event that offers lots of entertainment and fun for people of all ages. The event features animals, midway, food, contests, kids’ activities, and much more. In 2024, the ten-day Greater Gulf State Fair will take place from Friday, October 25 to Sunday, November 3.
