About the Winter Carnival
It is a winter celebration that annually takes place in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The event was first held in 1886, making it the oldest winter festival in the United States. Each year, the festival brings city-wide family-friendly events to Saint Paul and the Twin Cities metro area. The Winter Carnival attracts over 200,000 visitors and features crafts, ice carving, snow sculpting, competitions, food, 5K/10K/kids run, and so much more. In 2024, the ten-day Saint Paul Winter Carnival will be held from Thursday, January 25 to Saturday, February 3.
