About the Fair
Sandwich fair is annually held from Wednesday to Sunday after Labor Day at the 185-acre fairgrounds on Pratt Road in Sandwich, Illinois. The first fair in Sandwich was held in 1888 and today the event has become one of the most popular fairs in the Midwest. Sandwich fair is a family-friendly event that offers lots of fun and entertainment for all ages. The fair features carnival rides, food, competitions, livestock, truck & tractor pulls, commercial displays, harness races, and more. In 2024, the five-day sandwich fair will be held from Wednesday, September 4 to Sunday, September 8.
