About the Fair
The Southeastern Youth Fair (SEYF) is held each February at Southeastern Livestock Pavilion in Ocala, Florida. It is a not-for-profit all-youth Fair for 4-H and FFA students in Marion County. SEYF is the largest and one of the oldest all-youth Fairs in the State of Florida.
SEYF’s Steer Show, which was the foundation for the fair, began in 1941. However, the Southeastern Youth Fair as we know it today, began in 1978. The fair celebrates Marion County’s strong agricultural roots and features animals, horticulture, photography, contests, and more. In 2025, the Southeastern Youth Fair will take place from Thursday, February 20 to Saturday, March 1.
