About the Fair
West Alexander Fair is held each year at the fairgrounds located along Route 40 in West Alexander, Pennsylvania.
It all began in 1906, when a group of men from the area surrounding West Alexander met to discuss about holding an annual agricultural fair for the community. So, the West Alexander Agricultural Association was chartered in April of 1906 and the first Fair took place in September 1906.
West Alexander Fair is a family-friendly and fun-filled country fair featuring livestock shows, agricultural exhibits, demonstrations, pageants, truck & tractor pulls, antique machinery displays, rodeo performances, a demolition derby, food, live entertainment, amusement rides, and more.
In 2024, the six-day West Alexander Fair will begin on Monday, September 2 and end on Saturday, September 7.
