About WVIHF
West Virginia Italian Heritage Festival is annually celebrated on the historic streets of Clarksburg in West Virginia. Clarksburg community leaders contributed long hours and worked diligently to create this wonderful street festival and so the first WVIHF took place in the year 1979. The Festival has carried on its tradition of being one of the state’s most spectacular and colorful events that honors the past, celebrates the present, and preserves the rich traditions for future generations.
West Virginia Italian Heritage Festival is a family-friendly festival that offers entertainment, fun, and events for all ages. WVIHF features authentic Italian street food, games, vendor booths, contests, exhibitions, carnival rides, and more. In 2024, the three-day West Virginia Italian Heritage Festival will be held from Friday, August 30 to Sunday, September 1.
