About the West End Fair
The West End Fair, originally named the Monroe County Agricultural Fair, was first held at Weir Lake in 1920. In 1921, it was decided that the fair would always be held on the last Wednesday in August which is still in effect today.
The West End Fair is annually organized at the fairgrounds in Gilbert, Pennsylvania. The event features animals, rides, games, food, demolition derby, entertainment, and more. In 2024, the seven-day West End Fair will take place from Sunday, August 18 to Saturday, August 24.
