Western Illinois Fair annually takes place at the fairgrounds located along Oak Street in Griggsville, Illinois. The fair began in 1888 and was then called The Illinois Valley Fair. Today it is a longstanding and popular community tradition featuring numerous attractions.
Western Illinois Fair offers livestock shows, truck & tractor pulls, pageants, demolition derbies, carnival rides, games, contests, food vendors, and more. In 2024 the five-day Western Illinois Fair will begin on Wednesday, June 19 and conclude on Sunday, June 23.
