About Apple Butter Fest
Founded in 1984, the Salem Apple Butter Festival is a family-friendly event that provides live demonstrations of old-fashioned apple butter making and lots of fun, entertainment, and activities for all ages. The festival also features tasty food, contests, apple butter making, pageants, fireworks, a grand parade, a 5K run, crafts, and more. You can also participate in the talent show and corn hole tournament at the festival. In 2024, the three-day Salem Apple Butter Festival will be held from Thursday, October 3 to Saturday, October 5.
