About the Festival
Daytona Beach Bike Week is one of the best known motorcycle rallies in the country. Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce organizes the Bike Week each year and motorcycle enthusiasts are invited to enjoy spring riding.
The first event was organized over 80 years ago on January 24, 1937. The first race took place on a 3.2 mile beach and road course, and Ed Kretz was its first winner. Today, the annual Bike Week has transformed into a 10-day festival that expands throughout Volusia County and offers hundreds of activities for motorcycle enthusiasts. In 2024, Daytona Beach Bike Week will take place from Friday, March 1 to Sunday, March 10.
