About Surfing Santas
Surfing Santas is traditionally held on the 24th of December at Cocoa Beach, Florida. The event brings hundreds of surfers dressed up as Santa to the city’s beach. It is an excellent opportunity to celebrate the holidays with Santa, and have fun with friends and family.
The event started as a small family outing in 2009 and has grown to become one of the most popular holiday festivals in Cocoa Beach. In addition to ‘Santas who surf’, the event also features costume contests, performances, photo ops, and more. In 2024, Surfing Santas will take place on Tuesday, December 24.
