About the Fair
Ulster County Fair is held annually at the fairgrounds located along Libertyville Road in New Paltz, New York. The fair’s earliest roots date back to 1969, but the first official Ulster County Fair was held in September 1886 at Ellenville Driving Park.
Ulster County Fair is a family-friendly and fun-filled event that features livestock exhibits, horse shows, demonstrations, contests, fireworks, live music, midway rides, truck & tractor pulls, numerous vendors, delicious food, and more. In 2024, the six-day Ulster County Fair will take place from Tuesday, July 30 to Sunday, August 4.
