About the Brushy Mountain Apple Festival
Brushy Mountain Apple Festival is annually held in the historic Downtown North Wilkesboro, North Carolina. It is one of the largest fruit festivals in the state of North Carolina. Despite being a free festival, the event is one of Wilkes County’s biggest fundraisers.
It is a family-friendly event that offers plenty of fun for adults and kids alike. The Apple Fest also features food, arts & crafts, live music, performances, vendors, kids’ activities, and more. Visitors can also observe Appalachian heritage crafts such as chair making, wood carving, pottery throwing, soap making, and quilting. Orchards from all over the region display their finest apples, and there are dried apples and apple ciders as well. In 2024, the Brushy Mountain Apple Festival will be held on Saturday, October 5.
