About the Festival

The North Carolina Apple Festival is annually organized over Labor Day Weekend in Hendersonville, North Carolina. Apples are one of the most important crops of Henderson County and growing them has been a part of the County’s culture since the mid-1700s. This festival celebrates Henderson County’s apples and the agricultural heritage associated with them.

NC Apple Festival is a family-friendly event that offers lots of fun and entertainment for attendees of all ages. In addition to apples, the festival features arts & crafts, entertainment, children’s activities, festival food, a parade, and more. In 2024, the four-day North Carolina Apple Festival will take place from Friday, August 30 to Monday, September 2.
