The Florida Strawberry Festival began in 1930 to celebrate the bountiful harvest of strawberries. Today, the annual event has become one of the top Festivals in America. The Florida Strawberry Festival is the perfect time to discover Plant City and eat ripe strawberries. The festival also has entertainment, livestock shows, rides, contests, fun, and more. Each year hundreds of thousands of people visit this eleven-day community event to celebrate strawberries and have lots of fun. In 2023, Florida Strawberry Festival will be held from Thursday, March 2 to Sunday, March 12.
