About the Fair
Manistee County Fair is held each year at the fairgrounds located at 1st Street in Onekama, Michigan. The fair originated in 1886 and has grown to become a widely celebrated community tradition. It is a family-friendly and fun-filled event that features livestock shows, exhibits, food, carnival rides, games, merchant booths, a demolition derby, draft horse pulling, barrel racing, and more. In 2024, the five-day Manistee County Fair will take place from Tuesday, August 13 to Saturday, August 17.
