About the Covered Bridge Festival
The Matthews Covered Bridge Festival, also known as Cumberland Covered Bridge Festival, is held annually on the weekend following Labor Day in Matthews, Indiana. In addition to the Cumberland Covered Bridge, the festival also features an antique engine & tractor show, entertainment, craft vendors, food vendors, horse rides, inflatables, and more. In 2024, the three-day Matthews Covered Bridge Festival will begin on Friday, September 6 and conclude on Sunday, September 8.
