McHenry County Fair is annually held at the fairgrounds on Country Club Road in Woodstock, IL. The fair first started in 1854 and closed in 1924 and then resumed in 1949. McHenry County Fair is a weeklong event full of family fun, entertainment, and activities. The fair features livestock, agricultural displays, contests, educational displays, carnival, food, and more. In 2024, the six-day McHenry County Fair will be held from Tuesday, July 30 to Sunday, August 4.
