About Olmsted County Fair
Olmsted County Fair is annually held at the fairgrounds located along 3rd Avenue in Rochester, Minnesota. Olmsted County Agricultural Society was formed on July 28, 1860, and the first fair took place on October 3rd & 4th that same year. The fair was held at various locations in or near Rochester until 1919, when Dr. Christopher Graham gifted the property to the county to be used as permanent fairgrounds. Today, that property is known as Graham Park and it has been home to Olmsted County Fair for over 100 years.
Olmsted County Fair is a family-friendly event featuring many attractions such as food, entertainment, carnival rides, a miracle of birth center, livestock, farm crops, handicrafts, and so much more. In 2024, the seven-day Olmsted County Fair will begin on Monday, July 22 and conclude on Sunday, July 28.
