About the Fair
Panhandle South Plains Fair annually takes place in Lubbock, Texas. First held in the fall of 1914, the Fair had humble beginnings – but quickly became one of the most popular fairs in Texas. It is a family-friendly and fun-filled event featuring many attractions, such as carnival rides, games, a children’s petting barnyard, agricultural exhibits, creative art exhibits, commercial vendors, stage entertainment, food, and much more. In 2024, the nine-day Panhandle South Plains Fair will begin on Friday, September 20 and end on Saturday, September 28.
