About the Shepherd Maple Syrup Festival
The Shepherd Maple Syrup Festival takes place annually over the last full weekend of April. First held in 1958, it is a long-standing and widely celebrated community tradition.
The Shepherd Maple Syrup Festival is a community-driven effort that features a 5K walk/run, parades, helicopter rides, live music, pancake eating contests, midway rides, pony rides, tractor pulls, horse pulls, arts & crafts, lots of fun, and plenty of maple syrup.
In 2025, the four-day Shepherd Maple Syrup Festival will begin on Thursday, April 24 and conclude on Sunday, April 27.
