About the Rice Festival
Texas Rice Festival (TRF) is annually organized at Winnie Stowell County Park in Winnie, TX. The event was first held in 1969 to celebrate the rice harvest. TRF is a family-friendly event that offers lots of fun, entertainment, and exciting activities for all ages. The festival also features parades, livestock, pageants, exhibits, music, arts & crafts, rice cooking contests, rides, food, and more. In 2024, the four-day Texas Rice Festival will take place from Wednesday, October 2 to Saturday, October 5.
