About the Fair
Wise County Youth Fair is annually held at Wise County Fairgrounds in Decatur, TX. The first fair was held outside at the Decatur Baptist College on March 28, 1953. WCYF moved to its present location on FM 51 in 1956. Within a few years of its inception, the event became one of the largest youth fairs in the State. The fair is dedicated to serving the youth of Wise County and features livestock, poultry, pets, photography, crafts, and more. In 2024, the seven-day Wise County Youth Fair will take place from Monday, February 26 to Sunday, March 3.
