Parking
Free parking is available along the streets surrounding the Park of East Texas. Since free parking can be difficult to find during busy times, there are four paid parking lots that cost $3.00 to park.

About the State Fair
East Texas State Fair is held each fall at the Park of East Texas in Tyler, TX. The event celebrates East Texas’ agricultural heritage while promoting education, entertainment, and the spirit of competition. The fair has been providing entertainment and education to families for over a hundred years and has offered hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships. Each year, the fair offers lots of fun, entertainment, activities, and other attractions. The event features exhibits, carnival rides, live music, livestock, games, shows, food, petting farm, vendors, contests, and more. In 2024, the ten-day East Texas State Fair will be held from Friday, September 20 to Sunday, September 29.
