About the Livestock Show
Henderson County Livestock Show (HCLS) annually takes place at the Henderson County Regional Fair Park in Athens, Texas. The prime purpose of the fair association and annual Livestock Show is to educate the residents of Henderson County and surrounding communities about the agricultural industry. The fair association especially focuses on the youth and works with agriculture science teachers, 4-H leaders, and 4-H, FFA, and FCCLA youth.
HCLS is a sixty-year tradition that features livestock, poultry, game birds, competitions, and more. In 2024, the seven-day Henderson County Livestock Show will be held from Sunday, March 18 to Saturday, March 23.
