About the Festival
The Irish Fest is held each year at Riverfront Park located along Water Street in Peoria, Illinois. The event was first held in August 1981 and was then known as Erin Feis Festival. Attended by over 800 people, the first festival was a great success. In 2017, the annual event was renamed ‘Peoria Irish Fest – Erin Feis’.
Peoria Irish Fest is a family-friendly and fun-filled event where you can experience Irish culture and interesting activities. The festival features numerous attractions including highland games, live music, Irish dance, commercial vendors, exhibits, demonstrations, crafts, food, kids’ activities, and so much more. In 2024, the three-day Peoria Irish Fest will take place from Friday, August 23 to Sunday, August 25.
