The Pumpkin Festival is held each year on the last full weekend of October in Sycamore, Illinois. The Sycamore Pumpkin Festival is a family-friendly event that offers lots of fun, entertainment, and activities for everyone.
One of the main highlights of the festival is the pumpkin decoration contest where painted or carved pumpkins are presented at the courthouse lawn for judging. The festival also features pumpkin pies and other tasty foods, arts and crafts, carnival rides, parades, and so much more. In 2024, the five-day Sycamore Pumpkin Festival will take place from Wednesday, October 23 to Sunday, October 27.
