About the Fair
Fairhope Arts and Crafts Festival is annually organized on the streets of downtown Fairhope. The event originally began in 1953 as a tour planned to coordinate with the Mobile Jaycees’ Azalea Trail and Mobile Mardi Gras. The idea was to allow the visitors attending these major events to see some of the talents of Eastern Shore residents.
Today it is one of the top art festivals in the United States. In addition to the wonderful display of fine arts, there are competitions, entertainment, kids’ activities, and you can enjoy festival cuisine from the food court. In 2024, the Fairhope Arts and Crafts Festival will be held from Friday, March 15 to Sunday, March 17.
