About the Fair
Piscataquis Valley Fair is held each year at the fairgrounds located along Fairview Avenue in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine. First held in 1887, it is a family-friendly and fun-filled event that celebrates the rich agricultural heritage of Piscataquis County. The fair features amusement rides, games, livestock, horse pulls, ox pulls, truck pulls, pedal tractor pulls, pageants, demonstrations, contests, a demolition derby, music, food, and more. In 2023, the four-day Piscataquis Valley Fair will take place from Thursday, August 24 to Sunday, August 27.
