35th Year of the World Ice Art Championships
World Ice Art Championships is an end-of-winter tradition that annually takes place at Tanana Valley State Fairgrounds in Fairbanks, Alaska. The event was first held in April 1990, which was a one-week, 8-team competition. Ice Alaska has expanded into a multi-week event that attracts over 70 teams from all over the world.
The ice art competitions and other family-friendly outdoor winter activities attract approximately 45,000 visitors from all over Alaska and beyond. In 2025, the World Ice Art Championships will take place from Friday, February 14 to Saturday, March 1.
