About the Magnificent Mile Lights Festival
The Wintrust Magnificent Mile Lights Festival is a holiday celebration, annually held on the Saturday before Thanksgiving in Downtown Chicago. It is one of Chicagoland’s most popular events attended by more than one million people.
The annual Lights Festival illuminates one million lights on Michigan Avenue’s 200+ trees. This mile-long extravaganza features a spectacular parade with giant helium balloons, fabulous floats, marching bands, celebrities, musical performances, fireworks, and so much more. In 2024, The Wintrust Magnificent Mile Lights Festival will take place on Saturday, November 23.
