About the Fair
Goodhue County Fair is held each year at the fairgrounds on County 6 Boulevard in Zumbrota, Minnesota. It all started in 1859, when a small group of county pioneers reached a consensus that Goodhue County needed a place to showcase their agricultural and homemaking activities. That consensus and county pioneers’ vision became the Goodhue County Fair. After being held at different locations for over 50 years, the present grounds were purchased in 1915, and the fair had a permanent place to call home.
Goodhue County Fair is a family-friendly and fun-filled event that offers something for everyone. The fair features, animals, agricultural exhibits, fine arts, crafts, antique tractor displays, demonstrations, livestock auctions, a demolition derby, competitions, rides, fun games, and more. In 2024, the five-day Goodhue County Fair will begin on Tuesday, August 6 and conclude on Saturday, August 10.
