About the Festival
Middle Tennessee Strawberry Festival annually takes place in mid-May in Portland, TN. The first Strawberry Festival in Portland was held in 1941 and that tradition continues today. People gather at this event each year to celebrate and recognize the importance of the strawberry industry to Portland’s heritage.
The Strawberry Festival features live music, food, a parade, kids’ activities, fireworks, various vendors, a carnival, classic cars, and more. In 2025, the Middle Tennessee Strawberry Festival will take place on Friday, May 9 and Saturday, May 10.
