Tulare’s first fair was actually a citrus fair which was held in October 1893. The Tulare County Fair began in 1915 and it is a showcase for the County of Tulare’s agriculture. The fair also has something for the whole family; which includes contests, midway, entertainment, livestock, fun, food, exhibits, and more. In 2024, the five-day Tulare County Fair will be held from Wednesday, September 11 to Sunday, September 15.
