About the Expo
Known as ‘North America’s Premier Farm Show’, the Sunbelt Ag Expo is an agriculture-based trade show that annually takes place at Spence Field in Moultrie, GA. With over 1200 exhibitors and 100 acre exhibit area, the Expo showcases the latest in farming technology. If you are a farmer, the Sunbelt Ag Expo is certainly an event you don’t want to miss. There is also a 600 acre working research farm adjoining the exhibit area and visitors can take a tram to the fields for harvesting and other demonstrations.
The event was first held in 1964 but it looked very different back then. It was referred to as ‘Dealer Day’ and primarily served students with networking opportunities and allowed some dealers to showcase their equipment. In 1978 the annual event was moved to Spence Field in Moultrie and was renamed to ‘Sunbelt Ag Expo’. In 2024, the three-day Sunbelt Ag Expo will take place from Tuesday, October 15 to Thursday, October 17.
